For more than 30 years, the Netherland Dwarf – Tan pattern has been standardized in Germany. Without question, the tan-pattern dwarfs with their pretty colour are an asset to any show.

We first saw the Perlfeh in December 2007 at the RV stock show in Cambrigde. Derek Medlock pointed us into the direction of Ann Davies who first set us up with the breed. But the breed is so rare in the UK, we started to look to Germany to add to the bloodline.

You can count with your two hands the number of German breeders of beige Netherland dwarfs. At national shows there are only a small number of exhibits and to see them at a local show is down to pure luck.
London 2010 it’s into the record and history books, the winners recorded forever. Stars certainly shone on many None more so than Fourtune Stud BIS in the Adult show and Chris Horseman BIS in the Young show, they will certainly remember it.
As part of our trip to Texas we visited a number of rabbit fanciers. One of them was Melvin Thomas – a renowned Rex man. Alongside his Ermine, Melvin also keeps Castor, broken Castor and Red. The Castors are similar in colour to our darker Castor.
